“ The Arbour in Pasadena is an epicurean dream. I dined here with my Wife for my pre-birthday on June 14, 2024. We both had the Filet Mignon, medium well; and, it was divine. I always order Filet Mignon if the restaurant serves it, but this restaurant has a one up on other steakhouses, likely because of the it is prepared. It came with mashed potatoes because you can exchange your side dish for anything you like: and, I liked that. I also opted for the asparagus which was nothing short of delicious. I ordered two Gin Martinis filthy with three olives and they were great, but not like Drake, they were not the best I ever had. My Wife's White wine was divine, though (probably because I picked it out). Wow, too bad I just have no confidence at all (; jk jk. It was well worth the approximately $400 bill. Well worth it. Dine here. It is very very good. ”
“ Came here for a late valentines dinner! I saw that there was a parking lot in the back but I somehow couldn't find it so we drove around the block and was lucky to find a spot on the street right out front. We came during happy hour which is usually from open until 5:30. I got the pomegranate bourbon and pomegranate cocktail and it was very delicious! We then ordered the potato croquettes off the happy hour menu and it was honestly just ok, wish the potato was a bit seasoned it was kind of bland! For our dinners we ordered the duck and the yellow fin tuna. As we waited for our food, fresh bread and butter arrived and it was sooo delicious! Warm bread and soft butter on the house! Our dinner came and it was delicious. My boyfriend said the duck wasn't as good as the last time we went. I agree, this time it wasn't as astounding. The duck skin wasn't as crispy and the duck didn't have much flavor. The sauce was on point and oh my gosh the vegetables! I can eat those all day. I'm amazed it is straight from a farm. Ambiance here is heavenly. Our servers were very quick friendly and attentive. This restaurant is very dark, dim, quiet and spacious. Beautiful interior, beautiful clean restrooms. Will be coming back to see the next menu! ”
“ What an absolute "Gem" of a restaurant! Nestled on Lake avenue in Pasadena, this restaurant provided a delicious dining experience for our party of 5 on a Tuesday evening. We had a 6:15pm reservation and were promptly seated. The restaurant has plenty of seating options for small and larger groups. They have table seating as well as booths that can accommodate different types of groups. The staff were wonderful and attentive. We probably had at least three different servers come check on us, in addition to our main server "Cessily" who was really friendly and informative. The food was equally amazing. Our group ordered a variety of dishes and shared two side dishes. For me, I ordered the Bucatini pasta which had an amazing vodka sauce and ground pancetta. The portion was HUGE and price was great at $29. Others in our party had the night's special which was gnocchi dish, the seared yellow tail, and roasted salmon. We shared two appetizers: spicy beef chili toast and cauliflower carbonara. Both were delicious and well prepared. Fantastic meal, great ambiance, and excellent service. What else could you ask for!?! Highly recommend checking this place out. ”
“ Hmm not sure if I went on an off day or what but this made me think of my experiences at Las Vegas strip restaurants: lots of money for a mediocre overall experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is quite nice as you'll see from the photos so we came here for a special occasion. Half our table actually liked their food, half were underwhelmed. The food came out to us lukewarm or room temp (and my green beans were cold). We were told we couldn't order the appetizers first and then order our dishes later because the chef likes to be able to time the dishes, yet it still came out that temperature? Their $17 Caesar salad was nothing special. I did enjoy the $15 cranberry old fashioned. Maybe it's because the restaurant was absolutely packed the night we went but we were left wanting. Service was average, did not get checked on and got water refill maybe once or twice. Not sure I would come back. I actually came here for their happy hour years ago and remember having a pleasant experience so again, maybe an off day. Free parking in their lot behind the restaurant. Bathrooms were very nice. ”
“ This place is solid. Menu is limited but what they do offer are all really good! Come here for Happy Hour, Dinner, or a Late Snack, you won't be disappointed. Service is great - from the bartenders to the servers. A+++ The setting and ambiance is great. The lighting is not too bright and it never gets too loud. Perfect for a get together and have a conversation without yelling. Parking is street or the lot behind the restaurant. ”
“ I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally, we made it in this evening to try it out; their happy hour and dinner. Jose and Mitch helped us out at the bar seating, both were friendly and had great customer service!! I came before my friend and I had tried out the potato croquettes. It tasted a cross between mashed potatoes and tater tots imo. Topping had bacon bits and chives and it lay on top of sour cream sauce. It was yummy!! Then for our dinner, we shared the filet mignon and lobster risotto. The filet mignon layed on top of a green spinach puree to dip it in and it made it tasty. Both were prepared good. Enjoyed all the dishes. It was great they had split our entree in half so we didn't need to cut anything in half except within our own plates. And for dessert, we decided on the vanilla mousse, it had mixed berry jam of some sort and that made it tasty, along with the macaron. Thanks The Arbour team for making our evening fantastic!! We'll be back to try others on the menu. ”
“ This is my favorite restaurant. Ive been here three times now and can attest that not only is the service kind and attentive but the food is fantastic and consistent. The Arbor rivals the top restaurants in Pasadena and Los Angeles. The restaurant has a low key but classy vibe. Date night or a single girl having dinner feels equally elevated. You can wear jeans or a dress but I'd consider dressing "polished." Take note that this place is pleasantly packed by 7pm. Make a reservation because the word is out and the I ran into a wait that was an hour for just walking up. I love the bucatini. LOVE IT. It's a cold dinner dish and super plentiful; it's a bowl for two meals. Soooo creamy and flavorful. The salmon is also a solid pick; was well cooked and buttery. The carajillo after-dinner drink is perfection. ”
“ I was invited to join a few friends for a nice dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. To start the ambiance was nicely decorated, with the wood and metal accents. The staff were pleasant and friendly. To top if off, the food was excellent. The flavors were delicately seasoned to a delicious dining experience. As much as a shrimp penne pasta has a strong cheese flavor this dish took it just beyond and had something extra. The Caesar salad was nicely garnished with Parmesan shavings and a nice dressing. To kick it off even further, my friends shared my birthday with the staff and the cheese cake was creamy and smooth. I didn't expect to be celebrating my belated birthday, but it was a pleasant surprise to. Make the night even sweeter. I would definitely go back again and try some of their other dishes. ”
